Not sure what is on the table with the United States Congress? Visit TheCongressBlog.org, where you will find answers to all your questions.
The Congress Blog gives readers the run down on all the happenings of both the US House of Representatives and the US Senate. Included are fun facts in their A Bit of Congressional History, which serves as a “this day in congressional history” informational.
This blog is highly informative, but somewhat dull. Blog listings are short snippets of other blogs, with links provided to take the reader to the full blog. While it is nice to have blogs from a wide range of sources posted in one place, it is a little bit annoying to have to jump from one Website to another and back.
The Congress Blog is the place to go for unbiased reporting on the day to day operations of our government. Giving an overview of each day’s schedule, citing a variety of independent news sources, provides some of the most up to date information available.
Navigating the site, however, is very much like trying to handle a boxing kangaroo. You’ll eventually get it, but not without being punched in the face and kicked in the stomach first. All the information is there, but I suggest having a bottle of Aspirin on hand just in case.
Overall, I give The Congress Blog 2 out of 5 Liberty Points for readability and usability, and 5 out of 5 for overall message, giving The Congress Blog a total .
