Larsen Explains Pyramid Schemes

Bill Larsen was the LP candidate for U.S. House District 3 in the last election.

FORT WAYNE, IN -- This week on WOWO radio in Fort Wayne, Charlie was describing the latest $50 billion swindle on Wall Street as a ponzi scheme. With billions of dollars invested from charities, retirees, pensions and others, he said this was like sentencing people to poverty or something to that affect. He came across as being totally disgusted that this occurred and could happen. Well guess what, even though $50 billion is a lot of money it is a far cry from the single largest ponzi scheme that is still in operation. So what is a ponzi scheme? The name comes from Mr. Ponzi who tried to give investors great returns.

The definition I have heard and use goes something like this:

Larsen Sends Message to Supporters

Bill Larsen is running for the U.S. Congressional 3rd District seat. He sent out this notice to supporters one week prior to the election.

FT. WAYNE, IN -- It has been a long journey and in seven days we will see just what we have accomplished. The tens of thousands of emails, handouts, talking to people and helping with signs has just been tremendous. I have received more emails in the past three weeks than all my previous three campaigns. As we go into this last week, I would ask that each of you speak with two more people and tell them about my campaign.

For those who are new to this blog and like my position on the issues, you too can help. Go to www.justsayno.50megs.com. Under the heading issues is a link to my pdf position paper. Please save it and email to your friends and families.

Larsen Seeks Volunteers in 3rd District Congressional Race

FT. WAYNE, IN -- Libertarian candidate for the 3rd District US Congressional seat, William Larsen, is seeking volunteers for his campaign.

In 2006, as a candidate for one of the entrenched parties, Larsen received 30% of the vote in his primary challenge. While not enough to win, the gains over the 2004 candidate challenge sparked more interest and a new home within the Libertarian Party.

In a letter to supporters, Larsen promoted his positions with two published .pdf documents. The first file is a .pdf document of his positions on key issues in the congressional race. The second file spells out his concerns on social security.

To volunteer for the campaign, contact William at larsenforcongress@gmail.com.
