Horning Unveils Economic Plan

Reprinted from Horning's We Declare blog.

FREEDOM, IN -- Politicians have been protecting themselves, their cronies and their money for so long that their whole robbing-Peter-to-pay-Paul scheme is on the verge of collapse – and they’re taking us all with them. This is not good. But we still have time to prevent the worst.

In the 2000 gubernatorial race I said we should cut government spending by 7% per year, push back against Washington, DC’s profligacy, and restore the legitimacy and practicality of constitutional governance in order to prepare for the financial crisis now upon us.

Now we must act more quickly and aggressively. It is perhaps too late to avoid pain, but we still have great opportunities.

Horning/Kelly Campaign Raise Advertising Money in Single Day "No Deal" Money Bomb

FREEDOM, IN -- The Horning/Kelly campaign reported today that they had a nice day's response to their first NO DEAL money bomb, one of their first organized fundraising events.

The money raised from the single-day effort -- patterned after Ron Paul's now famous "money bombs" -- brought in money for yard signs, radio and cable advertising.

Lisa Kelly, candidate for Lt. Governor, noted in a letter to supporters, "We'll be ordering (and making) yard signs soon! If you can help us distribute them in your area, please email Andy or me."

On the heels of two successful debate performances, this is excellent news for the campaign.

Kelly ends her message to supporters with their grassroots theme of "Liberty or Bust!," noting that "grassroots activism is a beautiful thing."
