Enders Lays Out Four Points for Fort Wayne to Weather Economic Downturn

Robert Enders is a leading member of the LP of Allen County and past candidate for public office.

FORT WAYNE, IN -- To be sure, Fort Wayne would be better off if the nation's economy were better off. We can't fix the US economy from where we're sitting, but here is how Fort Wayne can benefit:

  1. Fort Wayne’s low cost of living will make this city attractive to those who have decreased earning potential.
  2. Inflation will make municipal debt easier to pay off. This isn’t a reason to accrue more debt; it just mitigates previous mistakes.

Larsen Sends Message to Supporters

Bill Larsen is running for the U.S. Congressional 3rd District seat. He sent out this notice to supporters one week prior to the election.

FT. WAYNE, IN -- It has been a long journey and in seven days we will see just what we have accomplished. The tens of thousands of emails, handouts, talking to people and helping with signs has just been tremendous. I have received more emails in the past three weeks than all my previous three campaigns. As we go into this last week, I would ask that each of you speak with two more people and tell them about my campaign.

For those who are new to this blog and like my position on the issues, you too can help. Go to www.justsayno.50megs.com. Under the heading issues is a link to my pdf position paper. Please save it and email to your friends and families.

Larsen Seeks Volunteers in 3rd District Congressional Race

FT. WAYNE, IN -- Libertarian candidate for the 3rd District US Congressional seat, William Larsen, is seeking volunteers for his campaign.

In 2006, as a candidate for one of the entrenched parties, Larsen received 30% of the vote in his primary challenge. While not enough to win, the gains over the 2004 candidate challenge sparked more interest and a new home within the Libertarian Party.

In a letter to supporters, Larsen promoted his positions with two published .pdf documents. The first file is a .pdf document of his positions on key issues in the congressional race. The second file spells out his concerns on social security.

To volunteer for the campaign, contact William at larsenforcongress@gmail.com.

Allen County LP Protests Tax Day

FORT WAYNE, IN - The Libertarian Party of Allen County members want to know if you're upset about your share of the national debt.

They took to the streets with that message Tuesday, April 15th, as the last-minute tax filers mailed off their returns. The LPAC estimates that your share of the debt is $31,061.54 and climbing.

And, they were quick to point out that is not your household. That's every woman, man and child. Do the math and the numbers are staggering.

The tax protesters were warmly received by most passers-by, honking horns in support of the demonstration.

The annual protest is a highlight of the party's annual local awareness efforts.
